One such launch is Devotion Eau de Parfum which celebrates the beauty in the “noblest values of life”. Coming in a bottle emblazoned with the Sacred Heart – a universal sign of love, and an iconic symbol of the brand’s history – its notes of orange flowers and Madagascan vanilla, devised by master perfumer Olivier Cresp, aim to conjure the joyful Italian atmospheres entangled with the brand’s DNA. Courtesy of Dolce&Gabbana Alongside Devotion Eau de Parfum, the accompanying make-up products similarly draw inspiration from the Sacred Heart emblem. Spanning three products, the collection is designed to embody the brand’s blend of tradition and experimentation, with natural vegan ingredients grown by small Italian communities, combined in innovative formulations. The first, Everlift Luminizer, rolls the benefits of liquid and powder illuminators in one product, with a universal shade to enhance every skin tone. Everkiss Liquid Lipstick, meanwhile, offers a no-transfer matte lip in nine soft shades. And finally, Everfull XL Mascara promises dramatic lashes – in one shade, extreme black – for up to 36 hours. Courtesy of Dolce&Gabbana The concept of devotion – an eternal love that Domenico and Stefano have cultivated through their work at Dolce&Gabbana – is also expressed in a dedicated room at the new exhibition in Milan, From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana. The first-of-its kind exhibition, launched in collaboration with IMG, tells the artistic and creative story of the label via its unique creations, curated by Florence Müller. Taking visitors on a journey through a series of themes, it highlights the role of Fatto a mano or ‘hand-made’ values since the founding of Dolce&Gabbana in 1984, its founders’ passion for Alta Moda (AKA haute couture) and their reimagining of traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary eye. From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana Starting at Milan’s Palazzo Reale – an appropriate setting-off point, for an exhibition described as a “declaration of love to Italian culture” – From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana will also be in dialogue with onsite immersive installations and specially-commissioned digital artworks. After the first stop in Milan, the exhibition will set off on an international tour of some of the world’s greatest cultural centres. To celebrate the opening of the exhibition, actress and Dolce&Gabbana global ambassador Mun KaYoung shares her beauty tips with Dazed in a short video en-route to the event.
