Case closed, right? Wrong. In an attempt to prove that Brown’s ordeal wasn’t that serious – for the record, it absolutely is – Louisiana-based rapper Len Martin used Gorilla Glue to stick a Solo Cup to his lip with the intention of licking it off... (Please bear with us as we try to process that sentence). Unsurprisingly, the cup could not be licked off and Martin ended up in hospital to have it removed, doing damage to his top lip in the process. The doctor informed him that if it doesn’t heal properly and becomes infected, he will have to have part of his top lip removed. “I thought she (Tessica) was just playing around because I didn’t think it was that serious,” Martin said after the incident. “I actually tried it out before and it actually didn’t do anything for me … So I was like, ‘Okay, she’s lying’ and there are all these challenges going on so I was like, ‘Okay I’m going to try it’ and it went backwards. This is definitely not one to try. Let’s just stop this now… It’s very harmful.” In case anybody else is curious about glueing anything else, the brand has released another statement warning them not to. “Our spray adhesive states in the warning label, do not swallow, Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. ‘It is used for craft, home, auto or office projects to mount things to surfaces such as paper, cardboard, wood, laminate and fabric.” Put more simply: Don’t do it!
