With models dressed in rare 80s and 90s pieces from the store, Michalik sought to embrace the title of the shop in her artistic direction for the shoot, turning the models into bunnies, through creating large and bejewelled fake rabbit teeth. Working in close collaboration with the store’s founder, make-up artist Victoria Sapet and stylist Marine Cuq, the budding creative explains the goal of the shoot was to “give life” to her “bunny friends from Snowbunny”, creating a “parallel between rabbit teeth and bling bling manicures, accented with gems and piercings.” Featuring dewy make-up, punctuated with OTT eyelash extensions, dramatic red lipstick, and orange blush, elsewhere the model’s hair has been styled into rabbit ears by the hair artist Quentin Lafforgue. Lisa Michalik for SnowbunnyPhotography Antoine Caillet Having previously created make-up looks, prosthetics, and transformed teeth for the likes of Novembre, Lanvin, Vogue Portugal, and Dazed Korea, Michalik is no stranger to merging the real with the unreal in her otherworldly beauty looks. Creating vampire fangs, glow-in-the-dark grills, and marble-decked molars – which she boasts to her 15K Instagram followers – Michalik says her fascination with teeth began after becoming “intrigued by dental prosthesis as it echoed the process of special effects.” Wanting to “create again and again”, this campaign continues to highlight the multi-hyphenate creatives ability to make the strange alluring and beguilingly beautiful. Shot by Antoine Caillet, the images will serve as promotion for Snowbunny, whose fans include Jazzelle (@uglyworldwide) and Bella Hadid. Check out the full campaign above. Escape the algorithm!
