If you didn’t know, the Canadian rapper already has portraits of Aaliyah, Lil Wayne, Sade (twice), and Denzel Washington printed on his body. Looking to add to his Hall of Fame, two years ago he allegedly promised Céline Dion that he would get a tattoo of her face somewhere on his body. Today, Dion has addressed this for an interview with iHeart Radio, with an urgent message for Drake: “Please, Drake, I love you very much. Can I tell you something? Don’t do that,” she says. “You can write me love letters. You can send me autographs for my kids. You can come and visit. I can have you home for lunch or dinner. We can go for a drink. We can sing together. Whatever you want to do. I can talk to your mother. Whatever you want, but please.” She goes on to (wrongly) tell Drake why a tattoo of her face wouldn’t age well. “This is not the money maker over here, first of all,” she explains, talking about her face. “As time goes, as you go older, you too when times comes my face will go longer and it will go not prettier. Please don’t tattoo. If you do it, just do a fake one.” Drake has not yet commented on the rebuttal. Stay tuned to see if he keeps his promise of getting the tattoo. Escape the algorithm!
