With the SS20 womenswear shows kicking off in New York last week, there’s another season of beauty looks to be inspired by. Already we’ve seen OTT cone hair at Tomo Koizumi (courtesy of Guido Palau), 80s glam at Jeremy Scott, and aliens covered in glitter at Gypsy Sport. That’s without even mentioning the 60-strong bonanza of individual looks at Marc Jacobs, created by Guido, Pat McGrath, and Mei Kawajiri. 

In among the chaos, hairstylist Holli Smith created looks at Helmut Lang, Section8, and Eckhaus Latta. Accompanied by polaroids to take you backstage in the action, find out the inspirations behind each of the show’s looks in the gallery below.
