The latest is an eyeshadow palette specifically for dark skin, created by beauty YouTuber Jackie Aina in collaboration with Anastasia Beverly Hills. After ABH was bombarded by Aina’s fans to collab with her, it reached out about a collab and she put forward her idea. “Every time I get palettes, I mentally have to fix them,” Aina tells Allure on the inspiration behind the product. “I struggle with finding palettes with transition colors that are dark enough for me. They show up ashy, chalky, or too light.” While the 14-shade palette is meant for anybody, Aina was very keen for the entire palette to champion darker skin tones. Since announcing the collab yesterday, fans on Twitter has given an overwhelmingly positive verdict. The Jackie Aina palette is available on Instagram now and will be available online from tomorrow.
