Here he was, looking lit, sporting a particularly edgy bowl cut. More hardcore than Will from Stranger Things, but less stripped back than a Benedictine monk, this bowl cut had a whiff of the Dalson fuckboy circa 2009; shaved on the sides, chill on top. It’s a heady combination of male posturing and rabid teen angst which is fitting for Chalamet in his role of rebellious prince as he transitions into British monarch. It’s not a look that’s limited to 15th-century blue bloods, this ‘do could work easily well on the streets today. The perfect accessory for the 20 something hypebeast on his way to steal your girl. To find out how to recreate it, we spoke to expert stylist James Benoit from George Northwood Salon. Get the Timothee Chalamet look “This bowl haircut is a strong-shape, dramatic look for the fashion-forward,” says James. “Thick hair with a slight wave will work best for this look, creating a textured finish with a defined graduation around the sides and back. Rather than opting for a sleek and smooth bowl finish, this style looks best with some product pulled through and allowed to dry naturally. It creates a strong yet effortless finish. "The best products to use to enhance and maintain the shape and style are Redken's Dry Shampoo Paste (a brand new product from the Redken range) or Bumble and Bumble Sumo Tech Wax. Either of these products will bring out the texture of the cut. For maintenance, wash every other day and use a quick spritz of Redken Fashion Waves Sea Salt Spray and allow to air dry for best results. See your stylist every 4-6 weeks to maintain the shape." Complete the look with a bit 21st-century drip; a dash of Prada, a hint of Supreme, and dare I say it, a touch of Old Céline?
