Kylie Skin may only be a few weeks old but the brand has already seen its fair share of drama. Following the initial release of products, fans on social media called the brand out for its Walnut Scrub. Physically abrasive exfoliators have fallen out of fashion recently among skincare enthusiasts due to the damage it can cause to the skin, and many compared Kylie’s offering to the controversial St. Ives Apricot Scrub.

Then last week Kylie was again dragged following a video she posted demonstrating how she washes her face with another product from the range, the Foaming Face Wash. People took to social media to criticise Kylie for the speed in which she washed her face, the fact that she used a filter and the heavy amount of foundation that comes off on her towel as she dries her face.

“Lmao this is such lazy content! Sis has on a filter so you can't see her skin, washed her face for 0.5 seconds and has the audacity to have foundation on the towel and still post it!!!” tweeted one user. “The foundation on the towel after she “washed” her face has me screaming” posted another.

Now older sister Kim has waded in. Posting a series of Instagram stories after “hi-jacking” Kylie’s account, Kim poked fun at the drama and defended her sister. “I’m going to teach you guys how to do a tutorial on how to wash your face,” she joked while using a filter that made her lips comically exaggerated. “And bitches I only have ten seconds what do you want me to do in ten seconds I would have the same exact thing.”

“Guys what is the big deal here with the ten-second video, that’s all she’s got!” Kim continued.

Kim then switched to the baby face filter, continuing to tease her sister. "Alright, after that 10-second face wash tutorial this is now what I look like. I have such a youthful complexion now," she says. "All you need is three seconds! I didn't even need a whole 10 seconds. I now look like a baby! I love this Kylie Skin."

Kylie can be heard in the background shouting, “You’re an asshole.”
