One recurring symbol throughout this bizarro trip is the Aggro Dr1ft demon mask – first sported by Korine and his cult of edgelords at the Venice Film Festival last year, and now a regular occurrence across the EDGLRD-affiliated events, IRL or on-screen. Now, EDGLRD has announced that it will release a limited run of demon masks to the public, along with the on-demand release of Aggro Dr1ft and some alien skate decks created by the EDGLRD in-house skate team. Designed originally for the film’s assassin character, the demon mask itself retails at an eye-watering $1,500, and the skate deck, a modest $850. But diehard fans can expect plenty more creative content on the way – an accompanying statement hints at pieces that can be worn physically, as well as by digital avatars within EDGLRD’s upcoming games to be released on the EDGLRD website. Aside from Aggro Dr1ft, EDGLRD is also behind the recent Bladee music video for the track “ONE SECOND” featuring Yung Lean, as well as a SKIMS campaign with Kim Kardashian, and a videogame-inspired sneaker campaign for Nike. Stay tuned for the EDGLRD drop – but in the meantime, read our breakdown of Aggro Dr1ft here, and check out some exclusive images from the London party in the gallery above. Escape the algorithm!
