With her residency resuming on the Vegas strip in late May, it seems Lady Gaga may be popping up with a boutique featuring her brand new beauty label, Haus Beauty, too.
This time last year, Gaga fans discovered that the singer’s company Ate My Heart Inc. had filed a trademark for ‘Haus Beauty’. According to the application, the name will be used to cover a wide range of products including foundations, blush, lipstick, eye shadow, perfume, cleansers, toners, scrubs, moisturisers and many more.
Skip ahead a few months to December 2018 and a website for Haus Beauty was found by some shrewd Little Monsters. The website, hausbeauty.com, was and remains empty for the time being, but there is a space where users can enter an email address to receive updates.
Fast forward to today and rumours have surfaced that the Poker Face singer is set to launch a boutique on the Las Vegas strip next month. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the beauty brand’s boutique is under construction at Park Theatre at the Park MGM Hotel and will coincide with her residency, which restarts on May 30th.
And there’s more, @thebeautynation_ claimed in a post yesterday that an Instagram account for the proposed store has been found, although they chose not to share any details about their discovery so we have been unable to verify the information.
Lady Gaga’s beauty line does not come as a surprise, however, as she has had previous ventures in the industry. In 2012, the singer released a unisex fragrance named after her debut album The Fame, and she has also been the face of the MAC’s Viva Glam campaigns in 2009 and again in 2011.
Gaga has been giving us her own hashtag hints for over a year now, with multiple captions on her Instagram posts including #haus, #hausofgaga and #hauseditorials. That is all we know for now, but watch this space.
