Is Fenty skincare on the cards?

“Fenty Skin” trademark has been registered

According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the “Fenty Skin” trademark has officially been filed. The patent, which was registered on March 25th, covers skincare - both medicated and non-medicated - body care, soap, personal care products as well as accessories like tools, kits and applicators.

Named as one of Time’s “Most Genius Companies” in 2017, after having reportedly made $100 million in their first 40 days on the market, Fenty Beauty are now celebrated for their inclusive product range and representative marketing. Referred to as “the Fenty Effect”, the brand is thought to be responsible for an increasing number of beauty brands expanding their shade ranges and better representing their customers. Given its success, we're excited to see how Riri will revolutionise the skincare industry.

That said, this isn’t the first time that Fenty skincare has been rumoured. In September 2017, fans found creams, lotions and cleansers filed under the name “House of Fenty”, which never came to fruition.

Stay tuned.
