The endurance race that is waiting for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones is slowly coming to an end on April 14th, coinciding with the launch of Urban Decay’s very own Westeros themed collection. Inspired by lads and ladies of the Seven Kingdoms, the collection aims to bring an element of fantasy to the real world. Showing dedication to the Stark family, Jon Snow’s Longclaw and Arya Stark’s needle swords have been replicated to create eyeshadow brushes and Queen Daenerys Targaryen’s magical essence has come to fruition in the Mother of Dragons pink and brown shaded highlighter palette. Her dragons are not exempt from the collection either with a deep red lip and cheek stain, titled Dracarys, meaning Dragon fire in Daenerys’ native tongue, High Valerian. The collection extends to include Vice lipsticks, 24/7 glide on eye pencils and perhaps most exciting of all, eyeshadow palettes reflecting the different Kingdoms: a shimmery deep blue reflects the Frozen North, a brown flecked shimmer is named Winterfell and a bright, natural cream reflects the typically warm settings of Kings Landing. Available individually or together as part of a Game of Thrones vault for $250 (£192), whether you’re a regular fan or a superfan, Urban Decay x Game of Thrones slightly softens the blow of the HBO show coming to an end.
