Clocking in at just over 30 seconds, the clip shows Lynch as the hard-of-hearing detective, a minor part he played in the original 90s show, eating a donut. Cast members who died in the original show, like Leland Palmer (played by Ray Wise) and Walter Olkewicz (Jacques Renault), will also return. There’s also a host of new residents in the Washington state town, including Sky Ferreira, Amanda Seyfried, Michael Cera, Laura Dern, Naomi Watts, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Trent Reznor, Tim Roth, Tom Sizemore and Sharon Van Etten. David Bowie was meant to return in a cameo role as Phillip Jeffries, an FBI agent he portrayed in the Twin Peaks film, Fire Walk With Me.
