Billed as the sequel to 2014’s surreal Tusk – which centered on a walrus-obsessed psychopath – the Canadian horror comedy has been dividing critics since its premiere at Sundance back in January. And now, thanks to the latest trailer, we can finally see why. The film, which stars Lily-Rose Depp and Harley Quinn Smith, follows two teenage girls who are forced to take on an army of nazi sausages (‘Brazis’). They are aided in their quest by Johnny Depp, who – in a shock career move – takes on the role of a heavily prostheticised detective called Guy LaPointe. In a new interview with V magazine, Lily-Rose Depp opened up about shooting with Smith; stating that he helped her “come out of her shell” as an actress. “Being able to feel free and comfortable in your character’s skin is so important,” she revealed. “The most fun part of making the movie was being able to learn and experience everything for the first time with people I love and admire.”Watch the trailer above to see what you think.
