Already slated to play Sundance next February 2016, the film follows four boys who give over their summer to mastering skate tricks in order to escape the streets of Cleveland, Ohio. However, when the boys get caught in the web of a local drug queenpin, their friendship is put to the test. Nas has also signed on to executive produce the film, directed by Steve Caple Jr. “(I’m a) huge fan of my man Steve Caple Jr. I think he can become the next great filmmaker,” said Nas. “(I’m) also, very excited to be working with my former agent and friend Charles King on his first film with his new venture. All great energy around the film, which I believe will yield amazing results.” Badu has recently released her mixtape, But You Caint Use My Phone.
