In the weeks leaking up to the seismic UK election on the 7th May, we went round the country with our Instagram. Using the hashtag #DazedOnTour, we invited our community to share their views of Britain today. Hundreds responded, from the north of Scotland to the tip of Cornwall, and in the gallery below, art director Jenny Campbell-Colquon and social media assistant Natasha Slee have selected their favourite images. Natasha explained her view on the project: “British banality became beautiful: we shared your Instagram shots of vistas, dirty city corners and wizened local heroes, and found an ingenious use for abandoned tyres in the Midlands.”
