From big-budget pop jewels to lo-fi wonders, the awards ceremony – now in its seventh year and going from strength to strength – honours them all. Dazed is nominated in four categories with collaborative videos from past Visionaries FKA twigs and Throne. The cover star of our Summer 2014 issue is up for three awards – two of her self-directed videos for her track Tw-ache and krump crew Wet Wipez are in the running for Best Choreography, while Tw-ache is also up for Best Alternative Video (Budget). Meanwhile, metal band Throne are nominated for Tharsis Sleeps, the world's first hand-stitched music video (director and singer Nicos Livesey took us through the labourious, record-setting process here).
