States of Independence kicks off today – six weeks of partnerships showcasing the most exciting independent creativity in America now through art, film, literature, sex, fashion and music. 

To celebrate, we want to see the very best Tumblrs America has to offer across these disciplines, and each week we’ll be calling out for a different creative theme, kicking off with State of Art next week. We want to see photography, illustration, poetry, collage, video and GIF – artwork that represents American creativity under the theme of that week. Every day we’ll select our favourites for the Dazed Tumblr, and at the end of the week the best will be showcased on dazeddigital.com.
