In a radio interview with right-wing Indiana pastor Jeff Allen, TruNews presenter Rick Wiles claimed that LGBT rights advocates are part of a "radical homosexual movement" that originally began with Hitler in World War 2. "The German Nazi party was homosexual," he said. "Hitler was a homosexual. They were trying to create a homosexual special race. It wasn’t about an Aryan race of blonde people, Hitler was trying to create a race of super gay male soldiers... It will end up in America just like it was in Germany, but it won’t be the Jews that will be slaughtered. It will be the Christians." You can listen to the crazy here, courtesy of Right Wing Watch: In case anyone needs reminding, the LGBT community were violently persecuted by Hitler: over 100,000 men were arrested as homosexuals, and an estimated 5,000 to 15,000 were sent to Nazi concentration camps. Allen, on the other hand, thought the radio show host presented a perfectly reasonable theory. "Gays are Nazi thought police," he promised, "and they’re going to be the worst kind of tyrants we’ve ever seen... That is the spirit that is alive in this country right now.” If you haven't heard of TruNews, it describes itself as "the world’s leading news source that reports, analyzes, and comments on global events and trends with a conservative, orthodox Christian worldview". In the past, TruNews has covered subjects including "Sharia-compliant" student loans and UK hospitals using aborted fetuses for central heating. Sounds legit to us! Are you a super gay male soldier?
