Dazed & Confused March 2013: Mia Wasikowska

Presenting the March collection special, featuring new actress Mia Wasikowska on the cover

Landing on shelves worldwide this week is the latest issue of Dazed & Confused. Fronted by ballerina-turned-Hollywood A lister Mia Wasikowska speaking about her new movie Stoker, the issue features profiles of delicate R&B souls INC, the singer leading the new fierce Jhené Aiko and Hit Boy, the producer behind the banger of a generation, 'N***as In Paris' on his transition to rapper.

The make- up innovator Peter Philips lets us in on the secret behind his most incredible concept to date, while Philip Treacy and Katy England catch up on the present state of British fashion, collaborating in the nineties and his recent London Fashion week catwalk show inspired by Michael Jackson’s wardrobe. We also get the inside on New York’s abstract painting scene as well as publishing a new short story and interview with America’s funniest writer, Sam Lipsyte.

The issue's centrepiece is a 50-page S/S13 special, featuring the best of the season’s collections. Terry Tsiolis and Karen Langley shoot New York street-casted girls at their homes, while Ben Toms and Mattias Karlsson create a sketch-book inspired collage of the season’s minimal pieces. Celestine Cooney and Jacob Lillis’s menswear story focuses on London’s newest faces, and Robi Roderiguez and Elizabeth Fraser-Bell's teenage tale explores the aesthetic of 1970s Eastern Europe. Jeff Bark and Robbie Spencer round things off in a snow-covered woodland-fantasy shot in upstate New York with ‘face of 2013’, Nastya Kusakina. To kick it off, we're sharing the jaw-dropping film of the Bark / Spencer shoot, Nastya In Bloom above. Look sharp, and wrap up warm.
