Every year, New Contemporaries – an organisation that champions early career and emerging artists in the UK – presents a group exhibition. This time around, the show is platforming 26 artists selected through an open call by artists Pio Abad, Louise Giovanelli and Grace Ndiritu. The tour was led by Lily Tonge, the South London Gallery’s head of programme, and Séamus McCormack, deputy director of New Contemporaries. It was another example of how Dazed Clubbers can access unique art experiences and get that much closer to some of London’s landmark exhibitions and galleries. After the tour, the gallery’s café hosted a cocktail hour, where Clubbers could hang out and chat about the show over complimentary drinks from Ghost Labs and Small Beer.
