In celebration of this revival, Another Man is taking over the Dazed Space at 180 The Strand, mere metres away from the Another Man HQ, for new exhibition Shashin Ron (On Photography). The exhibition features printed works and moving image from the global array of artists and photographers that have contributed to its Summer/Autumn 2024 issue, including Keizo Kitajima, Gabriel Moses, Viviane Sassen and JH Engström. Another Man’s editor-in-chief, Ellie Grace Cumming, explains, “Photography and visual-essays are the heart and focus of the newly reimagined magazine and with this exhibition we wanted to honour the remarkable global talent collectively responsible for making it a dynamic and thought provoking first issue.” The Summer/Autumn 2024 edition hit shelves last month and includes features ranging from the intrepid, Mongolian-born and Tokyo-raised artist-director Nigo, shot by Ryu Ika and styled by Shotaro Yamaguchi, to the Herculean tailored shoulders of Prada’s Spring/Summer 2024 menswear show, documented by Paul Kooiker. Imagery from both of which will be featured in the exhibition at Dazed Space this month. Visit the gallery above for a closer look. Shashin Ron (On Photography) is free and open to the public, running from Thursday 16 to Thursday 23 May, at Dazed Space, Surrey Street, London, WC2R 2ND, 12pm-7pm daily.
