A frequent contributor to Dazed & Confused, photographer Toyin is known for her ability to capture raw emotion and the beauty and sexuality of youth. She studied photography at Bournemouth, then got her first big break shooting for The Face in 1998. Editorial commissions followed from magazines like Dazed, Dazed Japan, Wonderland, Hercules, 10, 10 Men, Doingbird, Commons&Sense Man, Jalouse, and Crash, plus campaigns for Alexander McQueen, Edwin Jeans, Tanner Krolle, and Silas. She's also directed music videos for Patrick Wolf's "Wind in the Wires" and Paul McLaney's "This is Forever", and she still hopes to publish a book of her ongoing "Cult of Boys" project, which consists of thousands of photographs of "the boys I love" shot in her own bedroom.
