The latest signing on Andy Butler of Hercules & Love Affair's label, Mr. Intl, is not only there because he’s a good friend of the New York band, but also because of his unbeatable disco house credentials. Under his past pseudonym Diskokaine, he’d collaborated with the likes of Princess Superstar and Legowelt, whilst as his own name Wolfram, the Viennese musician focuses on more Chicago house-influenced sounds for underground labels like Holland’s Crème Organization and Gomma Records. After releasing a debut album from Swedish singer Sally Shapiro on his own label, also called Diskokaine, the 28-year old now presents an album of his own for iconic Munich label Permanent Vacation, and working with Constantin, their newest single  'Recession-Session' is the next track out on Mr. Intl where Jori Hulkonnen's 'acid orchestra' are on remix duties (as can be heard below), fitting perfectly with Andy Butler’s specific vision of sticking to all sounds between 1985 and 1994.

...your worst vice?
My worst vice was five years ago when I released the album of Sally Shapiro that got voted "worst cover of the month" in a Vice magazine but if 'vice' means something different than I don't know what to answer.

…the story behind your name?
You should blame my parents for that to combine two animals in one name. Wolf and ram are kind of macho though... so i'm okay now.

...your worst fashion secret?
i used to be a model and I walked for Yoshi Yamamoto but is that good, bad or worst? For me it's just "wurst" which means "I don't care" in Austrian/German slang.

...your favourite website?
www.apple.com - That's the site of Steve who provides me with nice computers. He is sick now that makes me sad. Maybe he forgot that "an apple a day keeps the doctor away". And www.diskokaine.com - it's got some nice retro 8-bit teletext style where you need to type numbers in with your keyboard.

Apple, eggs, milk and a huge banana.

...at the top of your shit list?
German scheisse videos... saw that ones but even for a tough Austrian mountain boi like me that is really disgusting what my German neighbours are doing in their free time. But if that answer is too radical than in my top shit list is an Apple Macbook... which is not working anymore.
