This year he'll be touring the US with Atlas Sound, the solo project of Deerhunter's Bradford Cox. Sky Drips Drifts is out now on States Rights Records.Dazed Digital: How and why did you end up in Portland?Adam Forkner: I was in high school in '93 all grunged out of my mind, also getting into K Records and Maximum Rock'n'Roll and generally getting into underground music and I kept on hearing about Portland. People kept telling me I should go to Reed College.
