Banks revealed the news on Instagram Stories yesterday, writing “I’m working with Grimes next week”. This post comes as confirmation from something Grimes wrote on Instagram on Friday, telling a fan that she was “flying to New York” for the collaboration “next week” – which, thanks to the passage of time, is now this week. Unrelated to the Grimes collab, NME notes that Banks also used her Instagram Stories to say that she wants to pee on Marilyn Manson “so badly”. “Half because he’s named himself after a white supremacist and only abuses white women in his videos (meaning I know he would never dare to set foot in a black woman’s yard) and half because I have a strong feeling he likes shit like that,” she wrote. “Marilyn Manson definitely needs to get peed on by Azealia Banks,” she added. “Someone needs to set it up for me to pee on him!!!!” So, you know, that’s another collaboration you should look out for.
