It's the self-proclaimed "most tasteless and twisted comic strip in the world", and its creator Max Cannon started the strip in 1989 for the Arizona Daily Wildcat, his student paper at the time. It has friends in high places, too - Matt "The Simpsons" Groening once said, "In a culture full of sick, twisted, perverted art, Red Meat is up there at the top - it's that good." And this year, Cannon has also branched out into making an animated series called "Shadow Rock", with dead clowns, aliens, sock puppets and TV weathermen. Meat tastes purdy good, huh?
