The previously unreleased tracks were outtakes from the late icon’s final album, Blackstar, which was released just two days before his death on January 10. Both songs – as well as another unheard track called “Killing A Little Time” – have resurfaced for a special dual-disc edition of the Lazarus musical cast album. The show, which premiered in New York earlier this year, is based on Bowie’s 1976 film The Man Who Fell To Earth, and was co-written by the singer in the months leading up to his passing. “When I Met You” aired on BBC Radio 6 Music yesterday, and you can hear it here around the 51-minute mark. “No Plan” aired on BBC Radio 2, and can be heard at the 46-minute mark here. The Lazarus Cast Album will be released later this week on October 21, via ISO/RCA Records. Escape the algorithm!
