Today is the launch of Absolut Machines, an interactive installation which lets you take remote control of a robot orchestra. It's a collaboration between Swedish technology studio Teenage Engineering and former MIT robotics experts Dan Paluska and Jeff Lieberman.

The Absolut Quartet is an automated electromechanical orchestra consisting of three instruments and thousands of parts, working together to create one piece of music. Absolut Choir, meanwhile, is made up of ten robots singing with the help of speech synthesisers and artificial intelligence software. Go to the site to give these machines their instructions.
