Last night, the Scottish producer said in a since-deleted tweet that he was “literally about to” release a .zip collection of unreleased tracks, but was talked out of it by his family and friends (and Greggs). Earlier today he said he couldn't afford the legal fees that'd most likely arise out of any unauthorized leak. It's not clear if HudMo is talking about his work on Kanye’s recent album The Life of Pablo or something older, but given that Kanye is still changing the album even after its release, working out payment is likely to be a major legal headache. Check out the tweets below. 👀 RT @HudMo: Literally about to release zip of kanye and drake songs I've done that I got 0️⃣ for— My Name Is My Name (@He_Sincere) March 14, 2016I love yous too much to put myself into a huge legal battle for no reason n prevent me releasing my own music— Hudson Mohawke (@HudMo) March 14, 2016Actually since being asked so many times "wats your advice to upcoming producers"..Mainstream rappers have less business sense than ur mum— Hudson Mohawke (@HudMo) March 14, 2016Love a little wind up for u cuntos, keeps u on your toes hehTil the day someone actually does thief my laptop n get 3 albums worth of gold— Hudson Mohawke (@HudMo) March 14, 2016So glad I have wonderful friends n family to stop me fully exposing frauds in this biz. @GreggsOfficialpic.twitter.com/W0hgTqHaDi— Hudson Mohawke (@HudMo) March 14, 2016No I don't have the 10 milly 💵 to deal w the consequences mainly heh https://t.co/4SnPZ9wf3g— Hudson Mohawke (@HudMo) March 14, 2016Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MORE7 of Chase Infiniti’s favourite K-pop tracksMeet The Deep, K-pop’s antihero ‘This is our Nirvana!’: Are Geese Gen Z’s first great rock band?10 of Yung Lean’s best collabs‘We’re like brother and sister’: Yung Lean and Charli xcx in conversationIs art finally getting challenging again? The only tracks you need to hear from November 2025Inside the world of Amore, Spain’s latest rising starLella Fadda is blazing a trail in the Egyptian music sceneThe rise of Sweden’s post-pop undergroundNeda is the singer-songwriter blending Farsi classics with Lily Allen 6 Flog Gnaw artists on what’s inspiring them right now
