Music / NewsFKA twigs drops a new track and video called ‘Good to Love’Get tangled up in the sheets with twigs as she enjoys a duvet dayShareLink copied ✔️February 18, 2016MusicNewsTextDaisy Jones It feels like we’ve barely had time to recover from FKA twigs’ astonishing audio-visual EP M3LL155X (which ranked at no.1 on our ‘Top 20 Music Videos of 2015’), but now the avant-pop auteur is back with a brand new track and self-directed video called “Good to Love”. In the 4-minute clip, the singer writhes around in a duvet – we’ve all been there, albeit not with quite as much style. The track itself (which was co-produced by twigs and Rick Nowels) was originally aired live during last year’s Soundtrack 7 residency at the Manchester International Festival. The slow jam love song features barely any percussion and focuses mainly on her sultry voice that takes centre stage as she sings “I’ve got a right to hurt inside, so will you hold me while I cry and let me lay against your side”. It also been announced that twigs will be appearing on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show this upcoming Wednesday night, so watch out for some serious voguing and silky-smooth vocals.
