Good, because Arca just announced via his Twitter that he’s got a brand new album right around the corner. The progressive producer and undisputed Dazed favourite has released a slew of wonderful musical creations in the past year, from his stand-out debut Xen, to his work on Björk’s exceptional and heartbreaking album Vulnicura to anything he’s ever done with FKA twigs, Kanye and Kelela. And that’s without mentioning all the tracks and remixes he’s been leaving around the Internet like breadcrumbs in a forest *pray hands emoji*. The new album will be out this autumn and it’s called Mutant; hardly surprising considering the freaky, animatronic creatures his visual art collaborator Jesse Kanda likes to dream up. We’re nearly just as excited about the album artwork as we are about the tracks themselves (nearly). Have a read of our interview with Arca here and Jesse Kanda here. !! my next full length album is out late fall and it's called Mutant and I CANNOT w8 to share with u all !! pic.twitter.com/PmwMAcVRZJ— Arca (@arca1000000) August 3, 2015Escape the algorithm!
