Music / NewsShia LaBeouf’s freestyle rapping is unbelievableThe actor goes in hard, spitting fresh beats in a video that is quickly going viralShareLink copied ✔️June 28, 2015MusicNews Actor, artist and metamodernist Shia LaBeouf may be on a crusade to add one more entry to his CV: the next heavy threat in hip hop. Video proof of his mad freestyle skillz first surfaced on one user’s Facebook, showing a rat tail-sporting LaBeouf spitting beats at a humble outdoor gathering. The video has quickly gathered over a million views. LaBeouf – who, along with his partners Rönkkö and Turner recently delivered the most convincing motivational speech of all time and sparked a spate of memes – is the gift that keeps on giving. As for his rap? He goes in hard, with lines like, “Eatin’ any rapper like I’m eatin tuna casserole.” Just last week, LaBeouf was sent to hospital after putting his head through a window while filming Andrea Arnold’s American Honey in North Dakota. He sustained minor injuries and was released shortly after. While this could simply be him going method in a role as a freestyle word surgeon, this is testament that he didn’t give up on his dream after a compelling effort on that standout from the Holes soundtrack, “Dig It”.
