MusicNewsLudacris' favourite film ever is The Devil Wears PradaUs too, 'Cris, us tooShareLink copied ✔️March 26, 2015MusicNewsTextZing Tsjeng Ludacris may want you to move bitch, get out the way, but he will always throw down for one boss bitch: Miranda Priestley. In an interview with Elle, the Southern rapper says that The Devil Wears Prada is hands down his favourite movie of all time. "I'm dead-ass serious. I love that movie. It's not even so much a chick flick," he said of the Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep-starring film, which follows the travails of Hathaway as she navigates the corridors of power at Vogue. "That's one of my favorite movies of all time, honestly. Period." According to Ludacris – real name Christopher Bridges – the film isn't just about a hapless magazine assistant trying to make it in the fashion industry. "It's about leadership and focus," he argues. We totally agree. Basically, The Devil Wears Prada is like Rocky meets Whiplash, except instead of nailing that perfect drum solo, Anne Hathaway has to return two thousand samples all over Manhattan in the space of 20 minutes. What we really want to see? Ludacris expanding on the leadership lessons he learnt from Miranda Priestley. But if 'Cris really wants to take home some mentorship advice from IRL people in the industry, he could do worse than watching Dior & I, the new documentary that followed Raf Simons as he created his first collection for Dior. Alternatively, he also could also check out our list of the ten most cult fashion docs of all time. Hey, he's clearly got a taste for that Vogue life.
