Music / NewsFKA twigs releases video for new track ‘Glass & Patron’It's not about Google Glass, but it does feature lots of vogueingShareLink copied ✔️March 23, 2015MusicNewsTextZing Tsjeng FKA twigs has done it again. After her stellar Camden Roundhouse show – featuring extensive choreography by Sia collaborator Ryan Heffington – she's now directed a vogue-heavy music video for a new song called "Glass & Patron". With FKA twigs and Beyonce producer BOOTS on production duties, the track is a bass-heavy song that turns the vogueing chant "now hold that pose for me" into a call-and-answer war cry. In the video, twigs is seen giving birth in the freakiest pregnancy sequence since Alien, before presiding over a crew of vogueing dancers in what we can only assume is some kind of magical avant-pop forest. The video also features Dominant, the founder of krump dance squad Wet Wipez, whom twigs directed in a video for Dazed. "Glass & Patron" was released as part of the YouTube Music Awards, which honours excellence in music video making. Watch the video below: Escape the algorithm!
