MusicNewsGrimes releases music video for unheard track ‘REALiTi’The new song is dedicated to the fans on the Visions singer's Asia tourShareLink copied ✔️March 9, 2015MusicNewsTextZing Tsjeng Grimes has dropped a music video for a previously unheard track called "REALiTi", which was taken from her scrapped follow-up to Visions. Filmed on her Asia tour and directed by the Canadian musician herself, it features a mix of live footage and Grimes dancing and singing in front of Asian landmarks like the Shanghainese skyline and the hulking neon-lit trees of Singapore's Marina Bay Gardens. In her description of the video, Grimes writes: "Since this is no longer gonna be on the album, I’m releasing it as a special thank you to everyone in Singapore, KL, Manila, Jakarta, HK, Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei, Seoul, Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo who came out to the shows! It was an honor to play with a bunch of amazing bands and travel to places I would never otherwise be able to go.""This song was never finished. its a demo from ~ the lost album ~, recorded early 2013. i lost the ableton file, so its not mixed or mastered. i tried to doctor the mp3 into a listenable state, but it was poorly recorded in the first place and never meant to be heard by anyone, so its a bit of a mess haha." Grimes is still busy working on her as yet untitled fourth record, tweeting in December that she was working with guitars for the first time and described "IRL music" as "my biggest inspiration lately".
