People from Drake's hometown of Toronto have been pasting his face on wheelchair signs all over the city as a homage to his roots as Jimmy Brooks, the high school athlete off Degrassi: The Next Generation. Over eight seasons of the beloved Canadian teen drama, child actor Aubrey Drake Graham scored hoops as a moon-faced basketball star, survived a school shooting, lost the use of his legs and finally left Wheelchair Jimmy behind to become the Drake we all know and love. But Toronto never forgets. She calls it "draking". "My boyfriend made the stickers last Wednesday and we’ve been ‘draking’ the town ever since," she explained. "We just want to make people smile." Drake is also known in his native city for lint rolling his trousers at basketball games and trying to change the city's nickname to "The 6".
