Disclosure and Ryan Hemsworth collaborator Sinead Harnett is striking out on her with her debut solo EP N.O.W. for 333 Records (out Aug 31), and the lead single is this synth-bubbling pop song “No Other Way”, produced by Snakehips and Utters. In her first video, Harnett finds an oasis of colour in the middle of city life as she emulates the understated, simmering soul of the singers she grew up on, from Whitney Houston to Lauryn Hill. Arms go in the air for the line “nothing that you do could ever change the way that I feel about you,” which is basically the sweetest thing you could ever hope for someone to write in a pop song about you.
