Vancouver-based Swiss producer Cyril Hahn knows how to ride a moment of euphoria out to its end: just listen to the gradual ecstasy of his breakthrough Destiny’s Child bootleg or his 2013 debut single, the feather-light “Perfect Form” with Shy Girls. Both stretched blissed-out vocal murmurs over a steady-handed house shuffle, taking their sweet time over the details, getting where they needed to go. On his latest for genius pop label PMR, Hahn’s so confident he’s perfected the art of “Getting There” that that’s what he’s named the track.
