Everyone has a favourite Sky Ferreria remix, don’t they? Her 2012 single “Everything Is Embarassing” receieved A+ edits from Twin Shadow, Unicorn Kid and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and now her current single “You’re Not The One” gets a bright polish from LuckyMe’s Vienna artist Cid Rim. He strips out the original’s taut guitars for Sega Megadrive sparkles and a shuffling beat straight out of Lumidee’s “Never Leave You”. But even though her voice is pitched up to a squeak, Ferreria’s track still rings with purpose – and it’s best enjoyed with saucer-sized manga eyes while bouncing on an inflatable chair.
