Shot in his native Kansas City, conceptualised and directed by Cody himself, HIGH is an Americanized Dante's Inferno - playing out his artistic obsession with the grotesque. Arriving as Cody's labour of love and his finest art piece, the all-American fantasy begins in Dante's climate controlled basement, 'the typical suspects fabricate a humdrum dream: an ode to getting old and rock ('n roll) climbing.' "I find it hard to believe we're in heaven… music makes the bourgeoisie a rebel? I guess it does, happy birthday!"
