Making lo-fi analogue and old school disco sounds via his trusty Casio keyboard, Heatsick's sounds remain diverse by moving through and overlapping genres with a distinctive, perhaps subdued textured aesthetic. Bringing in wide influences from dub and Latin, the lead single from the four-track EP is a laidback affair filled with lush summery vibes, whilst “C'était un rendez-vous” is a more chilled-out free jazz concoction, featuring saxophonist André Vida. For the final offbeat tropical-tinged track, “No Fixed Address”, Heatsick has made a lo-fi new video, piecing together VHS film footage with a somewhat voyeuristic feel as premiered here on Dazed...
