The show opened with plenty of tough accents – hard studded belts, wide brim hats and starched white shirts layered battered denim. Leather was also in abundance, bringing a structured feel to the collection’s skintight trousers or a cloak-like coat, which dramatically moved from side to side as the model walked down the catwalk. But the masculine approach that permeated the first half of the show was soon set off by some more feminine touches, including corsets layered over shirts, or puffy sleeves on a tailored men’s jacket.
