LUGGAGE is available in three sizes: mini, medium, and oversize. The collection has been softened by a new, flat ‘wave’ construction. A surprising contrast between the appearance of rigidity and suppleness of the leather is available in several variations from baby buffalo, smooth calfskin, suede, Mongolian lamb, thick collegiate-stripe flannel to include two exotic variations in crocodile and python. The craftsmanship of the LUGGAGE meets the highest standard of the best traditional leatherwork. As the bag’s construction is its distinctive signature, metal piece goods such as the front pocket remain discrete yet authentic with handcrafted appeal: handles are shaped to the shoulder; the leather butterfly detail at the back; topstitched leather linings. The colour palette is true to the world of Phoebe Philo’s Céline: deep neutrals like beige, khaki and black are punctuated by intense touches of poppy red and orange.
