He made a splash with the jet set when a young Brigitte Bardot wore an earlier creation in Saint Tropez, and it seems this earlier image has not only inspired the collection but both hair and make-up. The rich hippie look of his first wealthy, glamorous customers is significantly weaved through out each piece as well as the extravagant and luxurious lifestyle that the designer himself leads, it screams Cavalli. Fabrics in brocade, embroidered broadtail, studded leather and devore were multi-layered and topped with cropped fur jackets and tailored coats.
