From F/W 2010-11, the new creations will be available in exclusive multi-brand stores, as well as in the Giuliano Fujiwara shops of Milan, Rome, Tokyo and Taipei.Once again, it’s Masataka Matsumura, the brand’s creative director who chose to partner with the Italian manufacturing company to develop a collaboration. With the company's headquarters based in the goldsmiths district of Valenza, it has been operating for decades in the field of jewellery, and has gained an outstanding reputation for its contemporary designs, qualities that made it the ideal interpreter of Giuliano Fujwara’s sophisticated and minimal style whilst Japanese aesthetic philosophy Wabi-Sabi is again the main source of inspiration.Clean, rigorous silhouettes, as well as geometrical shapes are enhanced by meticulous manufacturing using precious materials, whose range includes gold, silver, resin and ebony, often paired with enamels and stones; in this way, each individual jewel acquires strength and personality.A selection of unique pieces, created exclusively for A/W 2010-11, will be presented during Giuliano Fujiwara’s upcoming show on Sunday January 17th.
