Emily Hope is a photographer and model based in London. She has modelled for Vogue, Dazed & Confused and i-D and over the past couple of years has started to take her own photos, which document her life and friends. She works as photographic assistant to Dazed photographer Laurence Passera.

How long have you been taking photos?
A couple of years.

How would you describe your photographic style?
My style differs with my mood but I usually try to take shots that I would rip out if I were flicking through a magazine.

What inspires you at the moment?
Solitude.

Were you interested in photography when you were growing up? When did you start to take photos?
To be honest I wasn't that interested and I just used to draw loads, draw pictures of faces that I'd make up.

What is your dream job?
I used to teach special needs children how to rap, that was excellent.

Who are your favourite photographers and why?
Peter Lindbergh because his fashion stories look like reportage.

Who or what would you most like to photograph and why?
There's a little isolated Welsh community in Patagonia, South America that descended from 19th-century immigrants. They still dress and speak in Welsh and run tea shops, things that I like and I wouldn't mind checking that out.

What are your plans for the future? Where do you see yourself in ten years time?
Running a tea shop in Patagonia!
