Murphy was perched on the right of the set wearing a voluminous tulle dress. "The whole world is cutting back and so we decided to cut into tulle ball gown," said Rolf Snoreren. It was a literal reaction to the credit crunch that was rammed into your face with gowns that were precisely cut into so that a hole was drilled right through a giant gown or a cross-section appeared to have been taken out leaving a black core. Any less precise, and the gowns would have been a flop but in the end achieved maximum visual impact that left the crowds in delight.
