Dsquared² Set Up Camp

The set design for the Dsquared² Men’s S/S 10 catwalk show creates a storm with their on-stage makeshift tents
Designers Dean & Dan Caten worked closely with scenographer Stefano Grossi to recreate a proper Canadian forest for their Dsquared² S/S 10 show, the same concept the designers had previously devised for their Dsquared² stores worldwide. With no detail overlooked with an incredible
camp site was the backdrop to their catwalk incidentally made of wooden planks
adorned with lanterns. The collection itself features suitably boy scout friendly ensembles including
casual checked shirts amongst colourful shorts and jackets.
Grossi explains: “I was given a brief of 'camping' and we designed this together always with the Dsquared² style in mind”. Having worked with the designers for the past 7 years, this season’s show set took an incredible 3 weeks to build including the tents, fog machines, canoe and a finale of sprinklers where boy scouts and the outdoors helped set the scene.
