Since the label skipped the AW19 season of NYFW, we’ve been eagerly awaiting news of who would replace the designer at the helm of the American label – however, it has now been revealed that the brand will no longer present a runway collection going forward. Instead, the brand will focus on its main staples, denim, and underwear – its latest collection of both revealed on a cast featuring A$AP Rocky, Noah Centino, and Shawn Mendes. As a longstanding name on the NYFW schedule, Calvin Klein will be missed. Under Simons, shows have seen him collaborate with longtime friend and artist Sterling Ruby to feature installations like that huge popcorn-filled set, complete with a life-sized barn.
